Ferrets Iron tablets contain 106 mg elemental iron from 325 mg ferrous fumarate.

Iron is an essential mineral. The need for extra iron may be caused by several conditions including the loss of blood, diets low in iron, weight loss surgery (bariatric), gastrointestinal abnormalities, normal body changes (growth spurts in children), and pregnancy. Unlike other kinds of iron, ferrous fumarate is gentle on the stomach. Ferretts is absorbed better on an empty stomach but may be taken with food if it upsets your stomach. Store in a cool dry place.

Why Choose Ferretts Iron Supplements?

  • WELL TOLERATED: Easy on the stomach.

Finally, iron that works for me.

Need to take iron but being highly sensitive to additives, etc. and dealing with Celiac disease made it difficult to find the right iron--this is it for me!

    Why use any other IRON?

Posted by gloria on 23rd Mar 2016

Was ordered by the doctor to take IRON of 325 mg. daily. I will not take FERROUS SULFATE, as suggested by the doctor, and the only ones I could find was FERRETS that was Ferrous Fumerate and at 325 mg. So glad I found these and I always keep plenty on hand so I don't run out.

    Back to Ferretts And Happy

Posted by Bill Hoglund on 25th Sep 2015

I had gastric bypass surgery in 2008 and began with Ferrett's for the Iron I needed. Not sure why I moved to get OTC Iron, but never again. Ferrett's is non-constipating and easily taken, with no problems. I believe when I last took it, artificial colors weren't quite the 'thing' they may be now, but I appraciate the fact that no artificial dyes are used. The delivery has always been fast, efficient, and accurate. And the price seems fair. I'm back aboard the Pharmics Ferrett's train!

FInally an iron product that works

Posted by Unknown on 10th Jul 2015

Have tried 3 other iron products - all rx ordered. I need iron to improve my anemia. I have essential thrombocythemis, a bone marrow disorder that causes blood to clot putting one at risk for heart attack or stroke. Anemia increases the risk so I need iron along with my chemo. Ferretts is the first iron that truly works. Thank you
